The Wi-Fi card does not work if you are more than 12 feet from the router. It worked fine near the router, so the card is fine. I suspect that the antenna's coaxial cables are loose on the adapter. Sent it back for a replacement. Lets see what happens. The second came and I started using it - everything seemed fine. But then when I started moving the screen forward or backward for convenience, it became invisible. It was very reminiscent of the old LCD screens of years ago when it was too dark to see anything if you tilted it back too far. Turn to you and it's too bright to see. Terrible. The description says "seen from every angle". Not my experience. I also sent it back. I expected a lot more from an HP laptop.
