I was a bit skeptical when I first opened the box as I expected it to look more like rope lanterns. But after hooking everything up, I'm really excited about them! They are very bright, I like the adhesive backing rather than using something to hold them in place and the fact that unlike traditional lights you can cut the strips into smaller pieces so you can place them in different places without the awful and constant random line of light comes out of the socket. The lighting app is a bit odd, but once I figured it out I was ready to go. And since you can make different colors, you can use them for different holidays (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day).
