Great filter, but... the best of the oil filters and accessories
This is the best full flow filter I've found for the 2020+ L5P, but. I first bought two filters and cut open the new filter to inspect and found that there was a bit of dirt stuck to the magnet from the manufacturing process. It was a small, round piece of sheet metal, small enough to fit through the bypass valve. I contacted PPE directly and emailed the photos and asked them to share their feedback with the quality department immediately. I have not received a response from SIS. Now I'm conflicted as I can no longer open filters over $29 to see if it's an isolated case.
