I have never tried Solomon shoes and was mainly looking for WATERPROOF shoes (gtx) for daily walks with the dog in any weather. The description matched my needs, so I bought it. I was pleasantly surprised at how good looking they were and how cute they were. I didn't see any markings on the shoe or box to indicate it was a GTX, which I found odd. I threw some water on the shoes to test them and it was clear it was NOT a GTX. Shame on Revain for the wrong description on their site. I wasn't happy when I put the shoes on. Oh God! The most comfortable shoes I've ever had! Walked 5 miles on day 2 and felt like walking on air. Now I have to try the real GTX to see if it fits and feels the same. AMAZON - Please fix your mistake so this doesn't happen to others.
