Simple and effective solder wick
This solder wick couldn't be simpler or more efficient. With extra time on my hands and watching youtube videos MUCH more than ever before, electrical engineering and DIY channels, I got inspired by them and bought myself some basic soldering tools. For some reason none of the mainstream stores carried a desoldering wick and that prompted me to buy one from Revain. The NTE solder wick is 1/8/3 mm wide and 10 feet long. a long copper braid that absorbs molten solder. It is designed for small dismantling work and work on small areas. It mimics what I've seen on YouTube and removes unusually thick solder joints really well when soldered out of the recessed area it was in. reset, replaced the damaged LED chip and gained valuable experience on how to properly desolder something.
