I've always loved the rust effects of Modern Masters, but I ran out of the activator. I buy the Modern Masters kit which comes with a small bottle of activator but it's never enough to cover everything that can be done with two bottles (foundation and straightener). I needed more activator and didn't want to buy another set so thought I'd try my own with vinegar, salt and hydrogen peroxide. It worked, but not as well as it really is. This big bottle of activator works just great, giving you deep rust but also wonderful strength like rust. I'm very frugal, but if you can get the consistent quality results this activator delivers, you know it's worth it. color and activator. This large bottle comes in handy when you've used up your small activator bottle but still have plenty of paint left. I get the best results when I let each coat of paint dry completely.
