This is a low cost oil separator that effectively collects oil/water being returned to the engine. It seems pretty well made. HOWEVER I will be back because it fits terribly into the engine bay of your BMW N54 making it very inconvenient to check the fluid level. The OCC needs to be clamped in the engine compartment to fit and the only way to test the fluid is to unscrew the entire can, remove the hoses and then unscrew the bottom of the can to reveal the fluid. Not to mention dismantling the hood. I hate to admit it, but I'm going to buy a Mischm0to canister that mounts in the front of the engine bay and is MUCH easier to access. Yes, it's $190, but I just bite the bullet.
