There really isn't any other Mazda 6 dash kit option other than this unless you custom make it. For this reason I would recommend it because it works as it should. As other people have said it doesn't quite fit, but removing the old clamps from the factory dash helps a lot. The instructions provided helped, but I couldn't have done it without the help of the Mazda 6 forum. There isn't much help with the actual installation and wiring. The included wiring harness left me with a clip or two that I didn't use and at least one on the dash bezel remained unused, which bothered me, but everything seems to work. One thing to note is that you first install the stereo in your car and then attach the front panel to it. I used 1/4" screws to attach the stereo to the car. On the left side I just put a small piece of wood behind the drill hole and on the right side I just drilled through the plastic. Again, I would take it because it is needed for a new head unit and works as it should.
