I installed my new 500GB M type, plugged it into my computer and it showed up fine in Macrium Reflect. cloned. I threw the old one back. Was fun installing that little screw to attach the new one to the MB. Ran a backup of the computer and no problems. However, I will say that it does get a bit warm when using the M.2 as an external drive for extended use. I only turned it on for 30 minutes and it was warm. Not hot enough to make me nervous, but noticeable. The aluminum body makes it sturdy, but there's nothing inside to dissipate heat. Remember.
