I like the colors, some are pastel and can be used for all occasions. There are two sets but you only get one adapter so you can only use them as one plug. Both strings must be plugged into the same socket, you will only receive one adapter. In addition, the adapter is quite large, so it takes up space and protrudes from the socket. Some plastic nibs are not as clear as most other colored or regular white nibs, the plastic nib is a bit cloudy. But they are bright enough for my use. For the money, ok I'll use it. I have a very small room in my house where I have this light on all the time. I'm going to use them like all colors, but the cool thing is you can change them to all white if you want. It's easy to press the button to change the color to white, color or flash. You don't need a remote control if you can reach the adapter and press the button.
