Review on 🔧 Optimized 1/2-inch Carburetor Spacer by Edelbrock - Model 8723 by Joseph Whiteman

This solved my problem for the time being with my CJ Jeep which was equipped with an AMC 304 engine with Edelbrock intake and a 1406 Eldelbrock carburetor installed.The problem was that it started quickly, when cold but lasted up to 6-8 seconds when hot. I couldn't even touch the carburetor because it was so hot. Now that I've got the gasket installed I can put my finger on the carburetor and it's a little warm at best. The engine rotates very quickly even after warming up to normal temperature. Installation was also very easy. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone having the same problem as me. It had everything you needed: a gasket, nuts, washers, studs and two gaskets. Didn't use sealant. Replacing the rivets took most of the time. Using a double nut from another review did the trick. Be sure to check the space between the top of the breather and the hood before closing the hood and check for leaks in the fuel line.
