Review on ๐Ÿช’ Parker 92R Ultra Heavyweight Butterfly Open Double Edge Safety Razor with 5 High-Quality Blades by Darla Wilmoth

Razor Parker 92R Heavy Weight/Butterfly

This is a serious razor. It really exudes quality (so far it's excellent). I've only had it a few months so time will tell. For example, I will only go with a butterfly razor. In my opinion they are safer to replace blades than 2/3 piece razors. They are also easier to clean. As previously mentioned, this is a no-frills razor. That's the weight, let's work on your beard. I have used an electric razor for many years, although it's been more years than I care to remember I've always used a DBE (Gillette Butterfly) razor. The truth is that if you're in a lazy mood, don't need to look your best and don't mind the old adage "five o'clock shadow", an electric thing will do. 3 blade razors, the big 3 or so brands are a gimmick. You have to go through the same pre shave procedures with a blade and you won't get the same results as a quality DBE blade and lotion plus they are expensive. Having not used DBE for years, it took a little getting used to! weight on it. It's heavy and designed to get the job done. Use hot water (as hot as you can stand, get a good quality blade like Shark or Wilkinson (for me shark is good too), finally get a good shaving cream like Aveeno or Kiss My Face and you're done done. The beard just melts!.

Pros
  • Butterfly opening mechanism for easy blade changes! Pack of 5 Parker Premium Double Edge Razor Blades
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
