We bought two pairs of these boots (different models). One for my 4 year old son and a pair for my 3 year old daughter. I expected my son to be tougher on his and he was. It wore out well before the 6 month warranty expired and luckily we got our money back. My daughter is MUCH gentler and being younger she uses her shoes less/differently. Again, the bottom was worn out, so we only had 6 months of use. Therefore we cannot use her in winter as her feet always get wet from standing in the smallest water since she found small scratches on the soles of her boots. Unfortunately we are 7 months old so the warranty does not fit.
