[.] Dollars may seem a bit pricey for a salt/pepper grinder, but it's worth it. It is made of thick glass and metal. The grinder can be ground completely steplessly from very fine to very coarse. The lid that comes with the grinder can be used as a water trap when you turn the grinder upside down and grind loose salt/pepper. The quality of the salt/pepper (depending on the grinder) is also very good. You will not be disappointed. I firmly believe in quality and am constantly disappointed with products these days. I have to tell you that every time I use this coffee grinder I have to smile because it has such a good design and quality. It reminds me of how home appliances were made 30 years ago when quality mattered, not KMart prices. I've had a few salt and pepper grinders in the past and this set is by far the best and will most likely last the longest. If you are considering this set, think no further. Just buy it.
