I already had slippers, a gift from a friend and I like them very much. I have plantar fasciitis and flip flops were the only thing I could wear to ease the pain while walking. So I decided to try the clogs and I have to tell you, they are HEAVEN! If you have a high instep, you should definitely take one size larger. I usually wear shoes that are 7 1/2 or 8W wide, but since they don't come in wide widths, I went for a size 9. They fit a little on the toes, and without socks your feet really become underpants. sweat, uh. So I wear very thin socks and my feet are happier than ever. If your heel hurts, try these - you won't regret it. I would give them 5 stars but I think the manufacturer should work on releasing a wider version for those of us with wide or high insteps.
