First purchase, I was just looking for a solution. I have lots of dried herbs but little storage space, so I was looking for jars to keep my ingredients dry, safe and visible, and to fit in the small space I can allocate for them. These cans meet the requirements in every respect. I label both sides and the top of these jars so I can see my herbs or the labels whether I'm putting them on the shelf - standing or on their side. They work better for me than glasses; The glass breaks and I'm anything but graceful. They have wide mouths that make it easy to fill them up and get what I need out of them. Considering they can't take the heat, I hand wash them and have only had success with that. I'm very glad I found them and will buy them again when I switch my herbs from glass to plastic containers.
