DO NOT BUY CoverGrip! Use this drop - damage your floors!

We thought it was a great idea when we bought these for our home renovation and wallpaper business. And we bought a few of these at our local paint shop. We had to reassign them to field use after some unfortunate events. The first time we had an issue with what we thought was a faulty thermostat on a newly installed radiant heater in a house we were working on. Pulling out the rag, we saw a bitmap on a brand new prefabricated wooden floor. It took a lot of buffing with a microfiber cloth to get rid of stains throughout the room. Not right after we used them in the marble floored bathroom. Black dots again. This time it was where we ever put the feet of our stairs. We were never able to remove these marks and ended up paying the marble installer to come back and clean up the mess. Very expensive and very embarrassing. I think they used real rubber and it wears out after a while. Maybe it's okay if you only use them on the carpet, but we'll never bring them indoors again. And if you're only using them on carpets, you don't need the grip points - just use a regular cloth. What sense?
