I love the mesh on the cord. I think it will take a long time. The connector plug is reinforced, see photo. It feels strong and stable, yet flexible. I have a Samsung s20+, I was amazed at how fast it charges in my car, USB port. Results may vary, but for me it charged faster than the cable that came with the phone.
