I already have several 1/4" to 3/4" drive torque wrenches. However, I did not have a torque wrench that could accurately measure torque in the middle of the 5 to 45 ft-lb range. Area. This tool filled that gap. The instrument appears to be well made and the scales are reasonably easy to read. As others have pointed out, the rotating vernier scale can only be used in conjunction with the foot-pound. linear scale, not Nm scale. If this is a problem you can always convert Nm to foot pounds. with a calculator (or in your head if you're a math genius). The conversion factor is widely used on numerous websites. Most service manuals I come across give torque figures in foot-pounds. and Nm, so I rarely had to calculate the conversion. I don't really need the accessories that came with it, but I'll use them somewhere. A note: the instructions are printed in such small print that only an ant can read them.
