I bought these mittens specifically for playing golf on a cool autumn morning. I have to wear mittens between golf shots to keep my hands warm as I push the golf cart across the course. The mittens should fit into a medium sized winter golf glove that will allow me to hold the club properly when I hit. I would not wear these mittens in place of snug fitting winter golf gloves. I find mittens acceptable except they are awkward to wear over golf gloves because they are a little tight. In a typical 18-hole round, winter mittens will be donned and removed about 60 times, so easy donning and doffing is important. My suggestion to the manufacturer would be to make them slightly larger instead of having separate finger slots inside, i.e. plain large thumb-only mittens. If you plan to use these mittens for non-golf activities such as B. clearing leaves in the yard or just walking/running on a clear day then they fit.
