Not durable, cheap: my feedback
Disappointed for a IP65 rated junction box. In tightening the screws to seal the box the screws stripped, now the box does not seal. Cheap brass sockets for the screws. This is good as a craft project box for grade school project but if needed for any type of outdoor or automotive use look elsewhere. I attempted to use this for an electrical box to house a series of relays for my truck. I was going to mount the box under the truck bed, but clearly this box is not up to the task, now I need to find a new box.
- Seals great. Using to house electronics for a hydraulic winch.
- While the IP65 rating indicates that the box is dustproof, it may not be entirely sealed against fine particles, which could cause malfunctions in certain electronics.
