Installation was easy. The instructions were clear. My helmet was bluetooth enabled and had speaker cutouts. I ended up using the thickest spacers behind the speakers. Everything fits well in the helmet. I placed the control unit on the left and the battery on the back. I mounted the mic just left of center on the mouthguard of my full face helmet. The device has many features and capabilities, so learning key presses and their combinations may take some time. I called on the way. At 70 mph, the group on the other end could hear the sound of the wind, but my voice drowned out the sound. For my part, it was barely legible due to the rush of the wind. When I turned up the volume, his voice became distorted. I can't blame 10p for that. The sound of the wind overwhelms everything. I wasn't able to test the intercom as my wife's helmet was old and not bluetooth capable. For music, anything over 60 mph was almost useless. I tried both built-in FM and music from the phone and the results were the same. The sound of the wind drowned out the music. In general, the device has many built-in features and functions. It's well made, easy to install, unobtrusive and unobtrusive. In this respect I award 5 stars. Because of the sound I give 4 stars; Features and functions are useless if you can't hear anything. =========================== Update: I bought my wife a new helmet and got the device so I could test the intercom. A few things I really like about this device: 1) It turns on quickly. 2) It connects to my phone almost instantly. Very little lag. 3) If it's paired with another device, it won't say anything when you turn it on unless it's POSSIBLE to connect to another device. Otherwise, a connection will be established automatically. In music sharing mode, the transition between music and intercom is painless. One press of the middle button - Switch to intercom. Then a long press on the middle button will start sharing music. (You must have a music app with a custom playlist). From there, a single press of either center button will put you into intercom mode. When you're done, pressing any middle button will bring you back to music mode. After a day of use we returned home and I decided to fix some issues because others reported how noisy it is. It's just not my experience. What I found was that the cutouts in my speaker helmet didn't match my ears! I had to move the speakers forward about 3/8 inch and down a bit. The volume has changed a lot! Speakers right above my ears. I'm sure I'll still have some wind noise, but having the speakers directly over my ears should be a massive improvement. Pros: Extremely functional, lots of features. Turn on and use. Fast power on and pairing. Relatively inconspicuous. Cons: Speakers distort at high volumes.
