The last 2-3 sets of outdoor lighting I bought broke within a few days, but they have proven to last longer, even after one strong winter storm they still work well. Make sure you put the control box somewhere it won't get wet - there is a long cord between the plug and the lights, useful to get inside to get an outlet. If I had any criticism I would say that the control box should be at the end of this cable and not the other end. The light is a nice cool white which we prefer warm white outside. They also offer a range of animations, but we always prefer them. We are very satisfied with these lights and can recommend them.
