I wondered if this thing would help ease my nervous breakdowns - literally nip them in the bud. And it is. This is the behavior change I've always needed. It buzzes a little next to me — that smooth little pebble — when it feels like I'm having a hard time breathing. This is my signal to breathe structured for a few minutes. No big deal, it could be 30 seconds. You breathe in, you breathe out - you can make patterns, anything. You have a small "bubble" screen that changes color as your breathing rate slows. It also marks certain phases of "rest" and "concentrated concentration". It has been working fine for 48 hours since I attached it to my jeans belt loop. Cases where I get "annoyed" - I need to wake up. The stress builds until I... Believe it or not, I'm thrashing about. horror. I should do something other than apologize. And I humble myself. Or I'll go the other way and go into a ball of suffering. I'm too old for emo swing anyway.* Funny worrying moment when my breathing got labored. when I read the news, the pathetic headlines about you-know-who and you-know-what. Ding Ding ding! Interestingly, WRITING your own news and editorials is reassuring. It is fascinating. Also, I would tingle if I sat in a bad position for too long. I just got up and felt better. I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the tingling. I've "taken a breath" or meditated for 30 seconds my entire life, but I've never made it. I'm not "woo". This tip is awesome for people like me. Cool beans, right?
