Arch support removed . I've been buying a pair of Kayanos every year for the past 6 years for my flat feet and overpronation, one size fits all. Always the perfect fit and great arch support in the past. Not this year. The shank has been removed from the 23 and the fit is tighter at the toe and top of the foot. Due to the tighter fit, I wasn't able to fix this by adding an arch support insert. Asics has been my savior in the past, allowing me to train comfortably. Now I have to start looking again. I give 3 stars because they are still well made and have good padding and heel stability. I can wear them for short, low-intensity workouts or mat training. I plan to test the 24 but will try them on at a retail store first. I would like them to be no different from previous models.
