Review on Tire Michelin Primacy 3 215/55 R18 99V by Stanislaw Stanislaw ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Auto Kia Sid, measurement 205/55/16, built in 2022. Two years ago, I spent $3,650 on a tire that I had for a very long time considered questionable due to the fact that Michelin Energy is currently on the working focus and I truly detest that kind of tire. Because of this, back then, after considering several tests and reviews as well as my own requirements, I came to a conclusion. The absence of sound was the first thing that struck me. And a gentleness in the action. I was scared that the car would lose its former grip and handling because of the harsh suspension on the car; nonetheless, the rubber on the road performs well in spite of my fears. The very first summer I spent away from home, I rented a car and drove to the coast. On the way back, I took a winding route through the mountains that was covered in jagged stones. Some people claim that due to the softness of the rubber, it is simple to hit, but I did not find this to be the case! Because I do not reside in a major city with well-maintained roads and because I frequently travel outside of the city to be in the natural environment, I have not experienced even a single cut or hernia. Only once, during a particularly severe downpour, did I manage to catch a screw in a moving stream of water, and as a result, I had to tie a piece of string around the tire fitting so that it wouldn't come loose. Regarding wear, after two seasons and twenty thousand miles on this rubber, the wear has been negligible and consistent. This is the case despite the fact that I prefer the driving style of Caucasians. Sharp starts and excesses on the track are due to me. Regarding the absence of sound, I concur with the reviews in which it is stated that the acoustic comfort is diminished as the product ages. The previous year's tires were 100% quieter, which is not a significant difference but one that I can definitely sense. Let's see what the next step is, but as of right now, I wouldn't buy any other rubber but this one!

Pros
  • Prose that is calm and gentle.
Cons
  • As it wears out, it becomes less silent.
