I would give these pants 4.5 out of 5 stars. I've worn these pants probably 10 times and overall I like them. Here's what I think: Size: I usually wear a 26 or 28 so I went for the 26 because some reviews said it was a bit big. Actually I think I could get my normal size and be good. 26s are normal, they're a bit short, but it doesn't matter much if you're wearing socks and high boots. The crotch sags a bit but I think that's because I have fat legs that eat up the length and I have a hard time keeping them pulled up. The waistband could be a bit higher, especially at the back, but that doesn't really matter with a long shirt or a tucked-in shirt. I ended up gifting them to my girlfriend who is about an inch taller, slimmer in the legs and maybe a little bigger in the waist and they fit her much better. Weather: They are definitely for cold and chilly weather. They keep me warm when it's 30 outside and they're good even when it's 50 outside. Functionality: Grippies are amazing. Later that day I was stuck in my seat in the restaurant, sitting very well in my leather saddles. They also have an inner waist pocket for a key or treat, but it's small - you definitely can't carry your phone in it. I would give this 4.5 stars. These pants are the most difficult to size due to the thick fleece lining. And they're surprisingly light for what they are. And cheaper than more expensive brands.
