Review on ๐Ÿถ AKC Calming Coat for Dogs: American Kennel Club's Solution for Anti-Anxiety and Stress Relief by Rudy Allen

Was skeptical but it really works on my restless pup!

My 11 year old chihuahua terrier mix was always terrified of fireworks which paralyzed her for hours. If it was New Year's Eve or the 4th, she would be found in a dark corner of the house for the rest of the night, panting, trembling and panicking, no matter how much attention/scrubbing/supplements/treats were given to her. It will be hours before she returns to normal. Even if it had been one firework display in the middle of the year, one random shot, she would have done just that. But that has changed with this worry blanket. As soon as she hears the fireworks and acts up, I go get her dressed and within the next 10 minutes she's 100% better. She is active, wants to play and is ready to spend the rest of the day. She digs and rubs the ground. This not only reduces their anxiety but also makes them happy and playful. I've had it for a few months now and have used it so many times. What's really impressive is that I was able to test it on July 4th. That helped sooooo much. I am very comfortable. The constant fireworks as soon as it got dark still made her a little nervous, but she wasn't at all what she used to be. She really slept through the night. So happy I decided to try this. I was very skeptical as there is no weight/flavor component. It's literally just a shell that goes in all the right places. Also, I followed the instructions on the packaging exactly. If I remember correctly, it's all about swaddling your pet multiple times when they're calm/no triggers and creating a positive experience with treats and love. That way, when it's time to use it, they won't be afraid and are already thinking positively about it. She also weighs 14 pounds and I ordered the size small.
