You need it! We planted a strawberry patch a few years ago and loved all the fresh berries, but home grown berries are smaller than store bought ones and it was difficult to cut them all up in time for things like pancakes. This is the biggest change in the game! Instead of constantly slicing strawberries while everyone else is eating and craving more, I can now make an entire bowl in 5-10 minutes and eat them with it. Love the consistency - great for a dessert presentation, such as B. a cheesecake topping. The only downside is that you have to keep it out of the reach of children and be careful when you take it out of the closet. The blades protrude beyond the frame, and unless you just grab it by the frame and place your fingers behind it (which I tend to do, of course), you're touching the blades.
