Very good book with nice pictures and clear instructions. This is especially nice for people who like to crochet granny squares, but I don't like this because I have to sew the squares to finish the plaids. I made an Afghan kilim as a gift for my daughter and it turned out beautifully. However, having to buy that many strands proved too expensive (if you're on Social Security and on a budget). I have no hesitation in recommending this book to anyone who enjoys crocheting blankets, blankets and throws. I'll probably do some of the others as the book makes it very tempting and if my budget allows.
