Review on 🧼 Multi-functional Oenophilia Decanter Cleaning Brush: Flexible Scourer for Glassware and Narrow Neck Wine Decanters by Heather Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for cleaning deep, tall bottles, but has trouble with narrow-mouth bottles

This is the first bottle brush that was long enough and had a hard, spongy surface to properly clean my water bottles and decanters. Plenty of small sponge cubes provide an excellent friction surface for proper cleaning and removal of any dried residue without scratching surfaces. The wire rod can be bent into a step shape to allow for a good cleaning of the vertical sides of standard bottles. ). If it doesn't fit in a bottle, you can simply return it if you bought it directly from Revain. Caution: The end of the brush has a short end that is originally 1.75 inches in diameter. After manipulating the end of the wire rod and bending it to a tighter vertical stroke where it attached to the end of the bob, I was able to reduce the effective size of the end of the brush to about 1.25 inches in diameter (matching the width of the brush) . at the bottom of the plastic handle). This is still a problem for bottles and decanters with very narrow necks. For decanters with a flared wine opening, it is not easy to bend the brush into the shape shown in the picture. You need to bend the shape of the brush stem after passing the bob end through the straight neck and press it against the inside bottom or walls of the carafe. If you have a fragile, thin-walled decanter, I can understand your concern about how much pressure you have to put on the walls of the decanter to fully bend the wire rod. While you may be able to clean the entire bottom of an extended carafe, you will likely never be able to bend the brush into a shape that will fully clean all sides of an extended carafe.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
