The main reason I bought this trimmer was the 5 points on the lever that help get a good blend. But when I got mine, the lever didn't reach the final point, making it difficult to get good length on the trimmer. I sent it to Andis for repair which cost me $60 shipping and had a description of what was wrong as he asked me in the box but I returned it uncorrected and I sharpened it. It was a brand new trimmer and didn't need to be sharpened, and afterward I actually felt it tugging at my hair, basically dulling it for me. When I asked to speak to the manager about all of this, he wouldn't let me!
