The second skin my tattoo artist applied the day of my tattoo started peeling off the next morning so I ordered these. It arrived the next day. Thank goodness as I really wanted this as my new tattoo is on my chest and it's quite delicate. It's surprisingly easy to apply. To be honest I had never done this before and was very nervous. I mean...putting duct tape sticky side down on an open wound seems wrong...but once I took a chance and put it on, it was easy and smooth. I had no air pockets or wrinkles and it looked great too. I was very happy with that for two days. It felt so protective and was just easy to wear. However on the night of the second day it became sooo itchy during the night and in the morning I was desperately trying to remove it. I took it off in the shower, ripping off the edges first. then I wet it with the soap in gentle circular motions and I also used some vitamin E oil to remove it from the skin. Lower it down and don't tear it from your skin. This material was stickier than this and was not easy to remove. You have to be patient, work slowly with the soap and oil and not worry. One day I noticed that my skin had reacted to the glue and I had a pretty bad red rash around the tattoo. I assume the area of the tattoo was also affected, it just wasn't as visible. I applied a lot of lotion every hour and the rash was completely gone in about 24 hours. I do NOT recommend this product for skin rashes. I don't have sensitive skin. I don't usually have breakouts. I find it scary risking a rash with a healing tattoo. This product is made in China. Next time I will buy a branded product recommended and used by real tattoo artists. Many Thanks.
