Not as quiet as the stock fan at high speed

Bought this fan to replace a stock fan that had been damaged by condensation in the aircon/heater airbox. Fan performance is good but I'm not sure if it's better than stock if it was working properly. At maximum speed, the fan makes a rumbling noise that the old unit didn't have, so I'm not sure about that statement in the product description. and silent function.
