Cools quickly with good temperature control

We haven't had this cooler long enough to test it, but I did some testing on how well it cools and holds temperature when unplugged. As you can see from the attached charts, on the highest setting it cools down from an ambient temperature of 67Β° to its lowest temperature of -4Β° in about 30 minutes. I think that's wonderful. The temperature controls and gauges also seem fairly accurate and do a good job of keeping the actual temperature close to the desired setting. I'm a little disappointed with how quickly the internal temperature rises after a power failure, given the same environmental conditions. Of course, this is the case with an empty radiator, so the extra thermal mass doesn't help, but it only took about 90 minutes to go from -4 to 40Β°. Other observations: There's not much foam gasketing around the lid - and in a couple of places it's foldable too deep into the plastic, so they take up less space - The legs are hard plastic, so they do more than slide when they do would be rubber. - The connector on the side has quite a bit of resistance. I'm curious how it holds up over time. - While I wouldn't exactly call it quiet, the noise is tolerable (even at maximum settings). - With generous rounding of all dimensions, I only got a capacity of 39 liters. Pretty close to 40 I guess.
