We haven't had this cooler long enough to test it, but I did some testing on how well it cools and holds temperature when unplugged. As you can see from the attached charts, on the highest setting it cools down from an ambient temperature of 67° to its lowest temperature of -4° in about 30 minutes. I think that's wonderful. We bought it to take with us on a long trip. We wanted to take milk, cold cuts, cheese etc to eat along the way. The car fridge worked great.
