IM OFF $140! It's been two months since I started using it in my new hair salon. It was perfect until yesterday. I used it once and it started smoking like crazy, made a weird noise and smelled like fire. I immediately turned it off and left it for the rest of the day. I then drained the foam and cleaned the car with the recommended cleaner. When I turned it back on, the car started smoking again, smelled the same, and I immediately turned it off again. I made sure all parts were foam free and tried again. this time it didn't turn off, still smoking, still smelling of fire. I messaged the seller and they basically told me they wouldn't do anything because they sent it to me in working order and their machines are highly tested and everything is fine. I contacted Amazon and they told me to contact the seller. Now I don't have $140 in a very busy hair salon and I need to make old-fashioned cold foam for a coffee cup. This is absolutely ridiculous. OLD POST - I've just opened my own hair salon and wanted this machine to match the rest of my gear. I wanted weeks before I could get it and was reluctant to buy based on the reviews. Knock on wood (I seriously don't want to jinx myself), this thing was amazing. The first use of each day is very very hot, but the rest of the day is the ideal temperature. I use it with Campbell's Ready Shave Cream and I love it. If this one dies I'll probably just buy another one. This is exactly what I need and what I wanted.
