From the start I had little hope of this so can't say I'm surprised but it would be nice if it worked at all. I saw a review that says it's more like a gel or cream that just sits on your hair, which is about right. So I took the plunge and tried it. I wasn't looking for a permanent hair color, just a fun color changing experiment. I have dark hair so it was hard to tell if the purple was in my hair after it dried. as written in the instructions, it became turquoise, but only speckled. Imagine you applied a cream/gel like product, then blow dried your hair and it turned into a chalky texture. THEN you brush your hair after a long blow-dry and you're done! NOW you have crayon dust on your feet and on the floor! My hair was turquoise up to the parting where I applied it (I definitely didn't have enough product all over my head. Only three small spots on the top layer of my hair) and nowhere else so I decided to straighten it. .what happens when you try to smooth the crayon? So! The smallest turquoise on my hair straightener! I never saw purple again. IDK if I did something wrong by following the T instructions, or maybe it doesn't work with thick, coarse hair types. In any case, it's definitely not what I saw in the advert. I'm not necessarily upset about it, I think I had fun trying it out and making a mess lol. I'd be resigned to wasting my time and money if the color change actually worked, but well, now I know.
