Review on πŸ“· Top-Notch Sony Alpha ILCE-6400 Body Camera in Sleek Black by Agata Jurkiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I took this camera to replace the Canon eos 6D. just tired of its size and weight. already tired of carrying 2kg of photographic equipment with me, and even poor video capabilities. Of course, it was difficult to switch from full frame to crop, but I did it. The main goal was 4k shooting and good tracking focus. and the choice fell on this model. I watched both 6300 and 6500 but there are overheatings and the old focus. And the battery lasts less. matrix stub is not much needed as I will use a three-axis stub for video. and for a photo, a matrix stub is not needed for nothing. I took sigma 30mm 1.4 dc dn glass to this baby. simply gorgeous glass and a beautiful pattern. I love sigma glasses. for this fotik excellent glass as a universal option. the whale did not even consider the lens. I love bright glasses Fotik liked it very much. impressed with his work of focus. Previously, it was necessary to focus on the eyes on the kenon and then compose the frame. and then he simply composed the frame, he himself found the eyes and shoot in a series. even while running, the object easily catches focus! the menu is a little confusing and not everything that can be brought to quick access, but somehow I'll get used to it. I advise everyone who needs a budget 4k camera with good features.

Pros
  • - compact and very light - Unrealistically cool and advanced focusing on the face and eyes. Now you don't have to worry about focus at all. he shoots in the eyes also in burst shooting - decent image quality for a crop matrix and a high ISO threshold - swivel display (convenient to shoot from unusual angles or shoot yourself) - fully customizable buttons and my menu. you can assign any function to any button - video in 4k and 1080p at 120fps and 100Mbps bitrate - timelapse mode. shoots immediately accelerated video without further editing on a PC. or immediately slow-motion video at 120k / s - Gorgeous tracking focus in the video. the ability to change the focus by selecting an object with a finger on the screen - the screen does not dim when shooting in 4k as it was on previous models 6300 and 6500 - does not overheat and last longer compared to 6300 and 6500 due to the new processor - the camera is charged from usb. This is a big plus when traveling when the camera can be charged from a power bank or in a car from a cigarette lighter.
Cons
  • Unfortunately, there are also minor flaws. - the touch screen does not work in the menu and you cannot scroll through photos with a swipe. only focus point selection and enlarged photo view - a bit confusing menu. at first, you can search for a specific item in the settings for a long time - the ability to select the 4k or 1080p video shooting mode and the number of frames per second and bitrate was not displayed in the quick settings on the button or screen. To change these settings, you need to go to the main menu. It is very uncomfortable - no focusing on the eyes in video mode. only in the face - Battery charger not included. zradyaka only through the camera itself - when you flip the screen to shoot yourself, the eyecup covers the screen area where ISO is displayed - it is impossible to remove the strap holder. you can remove the belt, but the loops will chatter and beat on the body and prevent you from recording clear sound from an external microphone or built-in - If you put an external microphone in the shoe on top, it will cover the entire screen if you raise it to shoot vlogs. but they have already come up with all sorts of tricks to put the microphone on the other side of the camera
