I bought this mug as a Christmas present and couldn't resist trying it on myself before wrapping. It works exactly as advertised. I filled it with hot water from our dispenser and after a few minutes the blackness was gone and zombies appeared which remain open until the mug cools to room temperature. very cool! Haven't tried washing it yet so not sure how it will hold up but I wouldn't wash this mug in the dishwasher. for fear that it might ruin the heat-sensitive image.
