The fan LEDs are honestly a lot better than I expected. You can change the color, the lighting mode (which has specific effects that I couldn't see in Corsair icue's dedicated software), the speed of the effects, and the brightness of the fans (which gets as bright as anyone needs). Still, I didn't just buy them for lighting purposes. I also bought them because of the size; Finding a 140mm fan stack that is also RGB I couldn't find anywhere else. When I bought them I was afraid that some of them wouldn't work based on the one star reviews. All five of mine were functional - lights and fans. I tested them before putting them in my suitcase. The fans are easy to install apart from routing the cables in and out of the controller which has proven helpful and in my opinion by grabbing the cables to take them out if needed. Surprisingly I didn't mix up the wires. Plus, the connector wires are long enough so you don't have to fiddle with fan extension cables. Also QUIETTTT fans. I have all five in my case with an AMD CPU fan and a 120mm main cooler and it sounds like a no-brainer. The airflow is also very good. I haven't done extensive testing, but I do know that running Dark Souls 3 at max settings for an hour and a half only caused a mildly warm rush from my body. Just wanted to let all buyers looking to save money and want some great 140mm fans know that this is a trustworthy buy. Very happy.
