I bought this cable to use as an Oculus Link cable due to its high cost. To be honest it might just be my USB port on the motherboard as I only have one port that meets Oculus Link requirements. But it was very volatile and didn't work at all. Instead I use the virtual desktop to stream my virtual games to the headset and it works fine so it's definitely the cable or my USB port. However, it also doubles as a quality charging cable if you want to charge your phone within 5 meters of an outlet or complete your quest while lying in bed watching a movie, so I'm still putting it on 3 as it still is useful in a specific context. If you really want to use Oculus Link, just get the official cable.
