This product is not solid wood - it is chipboard
Although it was easy to follow the instructions and assemble it, it was difficult to maneuver it on our own. You will need both a flathead and Phillips screwdriver - they are not included. Particle board can be made from recycled wood, but the outer veneer is simply made to look "rustic". I use it as a table for the hallway. Everything is OK. Average. Expensive for chipboard. I like the unusual shape.
