Product works as expected. The lid closes tightly so that water and condensation cannot collect on the edges. Easy to clean, good coating won't leave cheese, beans or meat baked. Sturdy quality base and bowl, heats up quicker than expected and holds temperature very well after cooking is finished, switched off and unplugged. The timer works great - set it for a maximum of 6 hours and it will toggle to keep warm when it's done. The settings have been tested and verified. Update over 2 months: still works great. Throw the chili together over low heat for 8 hours, go to bed, wake up and it's still "warm" and ready to toss in a thermos all day. What pleases me the most by far is that there is never any condensation or water bubbles around the rim of the lid to make a mess. Definitely a great buy. There were no dents, scratches or dents on the aluminum on the outside as mentioned by others. I use it, I travel with it, I keep it. Unless you drop it or throw things at it, I can't imagine complaining about the quality. A very happy customer.
