The top of the multicooker is broken!

To this day I am satisfied with this product. After preparing the chili, I set the slow cooker on "warm" for 2 hours so it would be ready for my husband when he got home. I was sitting in another room when I suddenly heard a loud TRACK. I ran into the kitchen, fell down and saw that the glass lid was completely broken. Not only that, the food was easily over 200 degrees. It overheated so much that the sides were burned. This happened within 20 minutes of turning on the multicooker. Be careful…

  • Good thing

  • Vulgarity

That does not work. And the 2 hour intervals are terrible.

The slow cooker has never fully cooked food. Really disappointed as I have 5 and 6 liter HB models. Doubly bad because only a 2 hour extension is available and HB says DON'T BOIL HEAT. So you have a cooking time of five hours. Do you take the 6 and digest, or do you take the 4 and hope that when he presses "heat" there will be enough heat to cook the food? Academic question here as my oven never got to the right temperature. But really? What's the answer here? Save money and get a real…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

Come on folks, this isn't a temperature calibrated scientific instrument...it's a slow cooker that costs $55 to $80 and works well. The countdown timer works with the settings you have set, e.g. e.g. 2-4-6-8 etc. and once you set the temperature (e.g. 2 hours) it will turn off after 2 hours and work as intended. Mine didn't melt and the lid didn't explode, but if it did the warranty would have expired, I would have bought a new one and my days would have been happier. Note: It fits the Hamilton

Good quality, excellent lid fit, timer is an exceptional feature

Product works as expected. The lid closes tightly so that water and condensation cannot collect on the edges. Easy to clean, good coating won't leave cheese, beans or meat baked. Sturdy quality base and bowl, heats up quicker than expected and holds temperature very well after cooking is finished, switched off and unplugged. The timer works great - set it for a maximum of 6 hours and it will toggle to keep warm when it's done. The settings have been tested and verified. Update over 2 months…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Negative gift

The slow cooker has sat for 6 weeks. Until it suddenly stopped working. No fading/fading, only worked one day and not the next. While the light is still on and the timer continues to count down (for high or low temperature) and up (for heat), the heating element has completely stopped working. I mean, look, I know things are built to break, so we have to buy new things, but seriously? We have been using it for less than 2 months and it no longer works. Interestingly, a while ago I was gifted a…

One and a half years - still valid!

I love cooking in the slow cooker - it makes my life so much easier to be able to pop it in in the morning and return to a nearly or fully cooked meal after cooking. I've had this multi cooker for a little over a year and a half now and haven't had any problems with it so far. Pros: - She cooks a lot of food (e.g. A LOT - I only cook for myself and does so for about a week) - The lid and ceramic insert are dishwasher safe, but they're also non-stick and easy to hand clean if you don't have one…
