Review on Fiskars 356922-1003 Everyday Scissors 01005692: 9 inch Length, Black/Orange, 3.5 inch Cut – Reliable and Efficient Cutting Tool by Kristen Szabo

After a few months of ownership here is my current impression: First I gave these scissors 5 stars, everything works, great scissors. I am reluctantly forced to edit my previous review after owning it for a few months. In theory, these scissors are great. They fail in practice and implementation. That's why. They are great for opening boxes and cutting plain paper. Start cutting something with some thickness and they start to warp. The lower blade (silver) of ours has bent a bit over time. When this happens you lose all ability to cut the paper and trying to fold it back so it is fully aligned is useless. In addition, the joint nut in the lower blade was also deformed, causing the upper blade (black) to come off. This made it even more difficult to be able to cut the base paper. So these are not the scissors you think you are buying. . Attention, if you load it a little, it will fail.
