Review on Home Prefer Safari Breathable Bucket Boys' Accessories ~ Hats & Caps by John Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for kids who don't shy away from sunscreen!

Bought this hat for our baby for his first summer after wearing a bucket hat for the first time as a child. Big Brother wanted to adapt. Bought XL for 4 years. I bought M for a large 6 month old for the whole summer. Easily adjusts to head circumference so I wouldn't be afraid to increase the size if you're on the edge so it lasts longer. The chin strap is good when it's windy. The boy gave it a good tug the first time he tried it on and the safety worked perfectly. The brim is large and my husband commented that they are bigger than the bucket hat we got as kids over 3 years ago. It covers the face, ears, neck, so you don't have to douse those parts with sunscreen and they're still protected. But the material is flexible enough that the brim flexes when you sit and lean back in a chair or car seat with your hat on. Today, first wash in a mesh bag on gentle cycle, then air dry. Boys love them, but I don't like giving birth to lobsters! Cute prints too! We've darkened them so they don't look dirty with regular wear. The mesh lining is great when it's hot so you don't sweat like crazy. 5/5 for sure! Boys love them, but I don't like giving birth to lobsters! Cute prints too!
