I was looking for a no frills headset with basic surround sound capabilities and I got it! Near-instant connection without the annoying delays of more expensive headsets. No stupid software to download, just plug and play! No bunch of buttons for functions you'll never use or stupid lights you can't see because they're on your head! No! Power switch and one button. This turns off the sound. It toggles a surround sound option on and off. Simplicity itself! And best of all, when everything sounds great! Either way good enough to my untrained ears so your mileage may vary. One caveat: the mic is a detachable part that sometimes requires fiddling with to work properly. But once it's there, it's usually good.
