Review on 🦋 Inch-Oxel Butterfly Insect Habitat by Jacob Fish

I needed extra space for the butterflies so I bought this one. To my disappointment it doesn't have a double zip like my other one. About half of the giant swallowtail butterfly caterpillars land on the zipper and form a pupa, usually near the top. The rest tend to choose pieces of cardboard to put inside (cardboard in a toilet paper roll, or folded pieces so they can be hidden). I usually postpone them later (the Monarch Butterfly Garden has tips on growing swallowtails). This cage can only be closed with a zipper. The ones with zippers need to be moved asap to gain access and I have to wait a few days for them to complete the puppet process. My other cage zips up to the middle so even with a zip puppet or two I can still access and bring in fresh leaves and clean up after the remaining caterpillars.
