Slightly grainy on the lips. good for moisturizing elsewhere
If you're used to more commercial coconut-lemon scents, the smell might confuse you, but it's not unpleasant. If I had to choose how it smells, I'd say it's lime. I love all citrus fruits so I love the earthy flavor they have. I tried it on my lips and it seems a bit grainy, I even thought maybe I had something else on my lips, I washed them out and tried again but it was the same. It's not very grainy and I got used to the texture after a while. I really like it for my hands although I will continue to use it that way. Small things go a long way and I love the quest to create a high quality natural product. Good balm.
